Perhaps because we are old people, we are able
to apply a broad Weltanschauung.
The most important social development over the
last century was the formation of the Mujer Nueva.
As International Women's Day, please make
concrete plans to help your mothers in the kitchen, to take care of the children
and, in general ways, to make the lives of your most important comrades and
friends more pleasant.

Many young people feel alienated and isolated
from the making of decisions that will shape their furure.
Next June, the G8 Leaders will meet in Canada.
The government of Canada has indicitated that it will sign the Kyoto Accords at
that time.
In my opinion,such an action will be a step in
the correct direction.
If you argree with that opinion, please arrange

Dear Comrades and Friends,
I hope that yesterday you participated actively
to celebrate International Womens Day and that while you were working with your
mothers in the kitchen you gave thought to working in solidarity with the people
of Africa.
Solidarity can be strengthened by awareness of
cultural development. The best example of African culture that I have seen was
the dramatic ballet,The Sale of African Slave Women, in the Habsburg Colonial
City of Santa Maria del Rosario. Can ways be found to present that ballet during
the G8 Conference.
Some people have respect for an Afro-American
musicia, Louis Armstrong. Which musicians in your country follow his tradition?
Can discs of that music be available at the G8 meetings.
Many people are not familiar with recent works
of Iberolatinoamerican poetry and literature. Can ways be found to form a
collection of the best examples during the G8 Conference?
