Dear Maribel C. Noda,
1. Ours is a small Party comprised of old people who do not use Viagra or turn tricks.
We sent you no commercial or pornographic messages. This electronic medium could be
used for peaceful, constructive purposes. If well translated, some of the contents of your
website might be of academic interest to other readers of the English and Spanish
languages. We understand that your Party finctions legally and openly in Cuba and calls
for regime change.
2. Responding to President Fidel Castro’s recent stop-over at the airport in Vancouver,
Canada, the Calgary Herald Editorial Board published the following questions today.
“Mr. Castro, how can you continue to justify your regime and maintain power through
human rights abuses and the imprisonment of political opponents, particularly when your
ideology was proven in the 20th century to be a failure?
"Mr. Castro, would you agree that the celebratory tone surrounding the coverage of your
visit here proves that, while Marxism may be dead, there's still no shortage of people who
still see it, despite all the horrors, as being socially fashionable?".
Yours sincerely,
Professor David Whitefield, Calgary, Canada

Dear Maribel C. Noda,
1. We have carefully read your March edition. If well translated into English, some of the
articles might be of more than academic interest to persons to whom words such as
“honour” are not silly, metaphysical abstractions.
2. Also, in your Analysis and Opiniuon Section, we have read the recent comments by
members or supporters of your Party who have provided no reply to the questions
addressed recently to President Castro who has been in the city of Vancouver, Canada, on
several occasions.
3. A large proportion of that city’s inhabitants are of Oriental origin. Special greetings to
Cubans of Oriental origin are sent from our members in Vancouver who, by avoiding the
purchase of non-essential commodities produced by the workers in the United States of
America, are working there to strengthen the economic embargo against that country
which is ruled by a regime whose actions threaten the lives of the peoples of the entire
world and who have intimated their intention to attack the people of Iraq on the day
when, by guzzlers of beer, the patron saint of Ireland, S. Patrick, is revered.
4. Like one of your poetic contributors, we hold this truth to be self-evident:- Siberia is
not the United Nations World Heritage City of Havana which is not the City of Santa
Maria del Rosario or the Municipality of Marianao or the Municipality of Playa or the
Municipality of Téjeda in the Canarias or the Iberolatinoamerican City of Macao.
Yours sincerely,
Professor David Whitefield, Calgary, Canada.
